Readers and friends! You may have noticed that I've been absent for a short while on Cottage and Broome, but it's not because I don't love you, I was just on vacation! I took a brief jaunt to California - Los Angeles, Palm Desert and Indio specifically, for the three-day music festival in the desert, Coachella! It was the most fun I've had in a very long time. Since I was absent from you all for so long, I figured the least I could do was share some photos from my travels. Enjoy a taste of Cali below!

The main stage - the biggest out of five. The Black Keys, Radiohead, Dr. Dre & Snoop Dogg, Santigold, The Arctic Monkeys and about two dozen other bands played it over the course of the weekend.

The festival's iconic ferris wheel aglow - it was a sad sight to leave. Now that I'm back in New York after a trip to the desert and brief stint in Detroit, I'll be posting again - can't wait to show everyone New York in the summertime!
