I was laying in bed yesterday morning and mentally planning my day. What to post about this week……hum? Weak morning light was shining in the window off setting the lace drapes- ahh there is my post idea! I love drapes, although technically they are not drapes but long panels of lace draped over finials. I've had them a long time and still love them as much today as when I first purchased them.
The wall are a soft pink but the pictures came out rather sepia looking, so the walls almost look like a grayish purple. I like the sepia feel.
The pattern is delicate and ivory colored.
The picture is of my grandparents on their wedding day.
What do you love about your bedroom? Or what would you add to make it the room of your dreams?

So lovely! I'm so pleased with my own master bedroom that I just finished redecorating. The only touches left to add are a new headboard and new bedding. Life is sweet!
I love the way you have draped the panels over the finials. We have not moved into our bedroom as it has wallpaper to be pulled down and we hate doing that so we sleep in the office. We are easily distracted.
Hi Laura,
Very pretty, love the lace!
Great idea!
Lovely photos too! Especially the B&W of your grandparents.
All the Best,
Christine
Beautiful, Laura!
In my bedroom, I love the small, blue Pewabic tile that you sent me. It's hanging on the wall near my birds. They love to talk to it.
Love,
Kris
Very pretty lace!
I love the picture of your grandparents on their wedding day. What a beautiful and meaningful picture!
Beautiful.........just beautiful.
Blessings,

Hi Laura
I'm a sucker for lace and you curtains are beautiful. Love the photo of your grandparents on the wedding day - how special that you have it. What type of flowers are in the vase? They are gorgeous!
Enjoy your weekend!

Your lace curtain is lovely.
Waverly Country Life toile all the way in my bedroom blue & white
however my upstairs guest room I have white lace
and downstairs in my studio bedroom I have white lace several panels of it crossed over each other
I love the Grandparents wedding picture what a treasure
Love your lace panels. You can never have too much lace. It's always pretty.
I so agree--lave is lovely. Thanks for sharing!
Lace does such lovely things to a room! I love the design in your panel and the way the longer panels drape to the side. The light is so soft and pretty coming through lace.....Last year I did my four large dining room windows in long lace panels and love the light....it is nice and bright, but give privacy, too!
Such a pretty post!
HPS!

Gorgeous!
Pink at my page, have a lovely weekend!
PS. I a now your blog's follower.
What lovely curtains. Looks like a lovely room, too. The curtains remind me a a set of lace curtains I scored at an antique shop last summer for $20. My daughter hung them in her apartment and says she thinks she'll keep them forever. Lace never goes out of style (at least for me!)
Nice blog. I came upon you via The Polohouse.

I do not like curtains, at least I don't like most curtains, but your lace panels are beautiful, yet not too fussy. I like the edging - sort of geometric. The wedding picture is fantastic.
What do I love about my master...hmmm, maybe the rose pink carpet and matching rose pink mini-blinds? We've been in our house since September and the only nearly-finished room is my son's...which he rarely enters :).
Great post!
GORGEOUS CURTAINS! What do I love about my bedroom? The fireplace and vaulted ceiling. It is done in white and has beams and it is a magical place to relax and sleep so peacefully. The only problem is that I can never get a good angle for a good photograph so I can share it! It truly is a sweet room and is the ONLY room upstairs in our 1.5 story cottage.
THANK YOU FOR VISTING! Anita
Such lovely, lovely lace. That silhouette is beautiful! Happy Sunday :)
Lovely ..The drapes make the place look dreamy and romantic ;-)
The material goes so well with your nostalgic theme. Very cozy. :)
Thank you for sharing your wonderful post at Potpourri Friday!
