The Sunsets on Summer

Here is northern Michigan fall comes early, it got down into the 40's last night. Our heat even kicked on last night, I guess it is time to start closing a few more windows. So with a nip of fall in the air summer is coming to a close. The beach is a few short blocks from our cottage and these photos were all snapped in one wonderful evening...

Tell about your most memorable sunset, was it on a trip to Hawaii or Key West, a sunset over your farmland, maybe a West Coast sunset, in the desert, while camping or maybe in your own backyard...

Fantastic shots, I always love seeing the rays splay out in the sky. Your last shot is stunning...

I think all sunrises and sunsets are memorable, one more day to live and breath in the beauty~

Oh, my goodness these snaps are so beautiful! Just beautiful!
Some of the prettiest sunsets I've seen were in Hawaii but we lived in New Mexico for 10 years and the sunsets there were just spectacular! :) Too bad I don't have some snaps!
Thanks for popping in to see me.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

The best part of this sunset, was being there! Fall in the air that means... golfing in long pants, harder to keep a cigar lit, and switching to Cabernets from Pinot Noir....All still good. Thanks fro sharing..... in so many ways.

Lovely photos. They had been great to have on the wall.

Wonderful photographs and a brilliant sunset. We're blessed to live in the Midwest, where, because of the humidity--which can be a blessing and a curse--beautiful sunsets are more than a rarity. Not sure I've seen one as gorgeous as yours, though!

Fantastic photos! Thanks for sharing. One memorable sunset was driving into El Paso from Midland. We had gone to visit a friend who had moved back there. We had the Eagles "Old '55" playing.

I see many great sunsets out my front window which has an unobstructed view of the front range of the Rocky Mountains. But, nothing beats the sunsets over the water! Your pictures are fantastic!

Hello,
I visited your blog today - I saw you on The Brambleberry Cottage. Your blog is so pretty, colorful, and full of life!! The carnival pictures caught my eye. We have a mother and daughters blog also. While I was reading, I noticed that we all have alot of the same interests. We love tea. In fact, we did a tea post, and English Breakfast is my favorite. We love fashion, coffee, gardening, and my daughter likes to write. She teaches Freshman college. We would love it if you could visit us and follow. I would really enjoy coming back to visit another mother/daughter blog...I haven't seen many. I hope to hear from you, and have a sweet day. Oh, you mentioned that you're not a professional photographer, but your sunset photos are gorgeous!
