Spring has finally arrived in southern Michigan, about a month late but it arrived. The temps finally hit the low 60's this week. The crocuses have popped, they are such beautiful little gems. I seems to have less of them this year, I think the winter heaved some of the bulbs up and were gobbled up by the squirrels and chipmunks. It just felt good to be outside working in the garden.
In northern Michigan winter is still hanging on, the snow pack still measured 20 inches on April 1st.
Still waiting for green grass, oh how I miss that. The lawns are brown and still very ugly looking. Spring is slow to appear this year but so glad it has finally arrive. Now if only we can get rid of the snow up at the cottage in northern Michigan.

Here also spring, but it's cold. Waiting for Sun.
Greetings Rosine
So pretty. We're ahead of you here in Oregon, but I know how awesome it is to see those first signs of life.
Laura- What beautiful images. I think it is Spring there. Lucky you- xo Diana
Glorious photos, Laura. Yes, we have the "brown lawn" too, but the daffs are sticking their green shoots out of the ground. Maybe the rain that is supposedly coming today and tomorrow will green things up a bit. Yesterday, a long walk and it was simply wonderful! Spring is indeed here. I hope.
Sorry that you still have snow! Your crocuses look beautiful though and I hope that lots more springy things will come to you soon. xx
Encouraging to see the flowers start popping up. I have friends in Michigan and they are looking forward to spring just like you.
They are so beautiful. I hope the snow melts soon!
Happy Easter!
