Fairy House on a Stick

This summer I seem to have been bitten by fairies. First the fairy garden, now the fairy house. Actually I bought the house thinking I might use it in my fairy garden but when I got is home it was way too big.  So I had to find another spot for it. If you missed our post on the fairy garden click on Fairy Garden to see it.

The little house is nestled amount the daisies and limelight hydrangeas.

I love all the details of the house lots of windows for little creatures to buzz in and out of.

All the white flowers are so pretty in the garden, it offsets all the pinks I like to use.

Sadly, the garden is starting to get ready for fall. The petunias and other potted plants are leggy even though the deer have trimmed them many times for me. Leaves are starting to fall, the tops of our trees are turning, the nights are cooling. I always look forward to fall and this year is no exception. I'm sure fall will be welcomed by many of you after this hot, dry summer. Are you seeing signs of fall in your area?

 Have a wonderful week!

I also love the season change. The fairy house is wonderfully detailed and a great addition to the garden. I'm sure the faries will appreciate the shelter as the temps start to cool.

Hello Laura,
here's the whole summer was autumn. Rain, rain and wind, and far too cold.
Maybe the warmer autumn here in Schleswig-Holstein. Greetings from

The little house just adds a bit of whimsy to your garden landscape. I love daisies-they are pictured on my blog and I have a pinterest board dedicated to the simple sweet flower. Would you mind if I pinned one of your pictures?

Cute little house - awesome flowers! I love daisies and have never seen the limelight hyd...never remember how to spell that name. Anyway, beautiful!
I had to see where you're located - we've just had so much heat a drought - and I miss the abundance of green/flowers etc. Your photos are refreshing.

Happy Pink Saturday!

Laura, your little fairy house is just darling. I love it tucked among the daisies. The daisy is a perfect flower suitable for a fairy to softly rest upon. Hubby went for a drive today up over a pass called Sun Crest. It is 10 min. from our home. We were amazed to see a hint of red already showing in the trees and bushes. Soon it will be putting on a show of brilliant color. Thanks for sharing with Share Your Cup.

Jann

Darling little fairy house! Your flowers are still beautiful...mine are burned. :/ Daisies are one of my favorites ~ thanks for sharing!

We've had a touch of cooler temps the past few days but heat will return before fall is truly here. Can't wait ~ it's my favorite season!
