Buttons, Buttons….

At a recent antique show I was captivated by all these buttons. I love how the vendor displayed them on the colorful cards. It gives them a vintage feel from the 1940's perhaps?

A few patriotic buttons lots of red, white and blue.

To me these turquoise buttons remind me of the 1960's, my grandmother had cards and cards of these type of buttons.

So many pretty buttons waiting for a new project or outfit….

A special thanks to Honey at 2805 of featuring our Fairy Garden post form last week!!!!

P.S.  Not so perfect…I'm having a problem with my posts not showing up on the Blogger Reading list. If any one has suggestions for a fix or know where I can go for help, I'd really appreciate it. This is the third post that has not appeared on the reading list.

The way these buttons are displayed really makes the color and shape pop rather just digging through piles! Thanks for sharing!

Cute buttons. That dealer went to a lot of trouble to display those buttons, but it certainly made a nice presentation.

Got to LOVE "The Buttons!" My mother had a small treasure box looking wooden box that we called The Button Box. If you needed a button, it was in there. During "The Depression," she said that is how they made an old dress look new...change the buttons! This post from Tuesday just showed up on Saturday. Hope you found the problem.

Must have been fun to see all tthese really great buttons in person. That's a unique display with the buttons on the cut paper, and it invokes a bakelite feel.
