Nesting Santas

If you saw my last post on our mantel at the cottage you might have noticed the little santa figures. They came from my collection of nesting santas. They are like the Russian nesting dolls only they are santas. I have about five different sets of the santas and have had them for years.

I thought they would look fun piled in this vintage ice bucket. However, now I am not sure which santas go together! There are five different sets but they all look very similar, I might have commingled the nesting sets now. Oh no!

Santa matches for lighting holiday candles.

I keep saying I don't really decorate with much red but it seems like all I have been posting  this season is red. I think the next post I should move onto the pink side of our holidays.

Nice collection! What a fun thing to hunt for. I think I need a bit more red at my place myself. So cheery!

As a child I was so attracted to these kind of nesting dolls, I probably still am if given opportunity to play with one. Your Santas look bright and happy.

I have a set of nesting dolls packed away, but I would have been wiser to buy a set of SANTA nesting dolls. So cute in the ice bucket!

Laura, they do look great in the bucket. Guess no one will ever know if they are not quite the same as before. I had a few sets of nesting Santas. I accidently left my container of Santas at my old home which my son bought. When he discovered it last year he asked if they could put them out. I have so darn much that I said, yes. It was fun going to visit and seeing them in our old home. Thanks for sharing with Share Your Cup. Forgot to mention that I love the color of green of your candlesticks. Merry Christmas my friend!
