Post Thanksgiving

Boy, Thanksgiving went by in a flash! So many days of preparation and anticipation to have the special day be over in what felt like a blink. I almost forgot to take pictures of the table. Our table featured trio of turkeys, a mix of vintage, handcrafted and new turkeys.

The table included turkey plates of course! These plates are by Johnson Brothers the pattern in Autumn Monarch.

The pumpkins details in the border are very sweet.

  1. What a lovely Thanksgiving table setting. Mine was on paper plates on a picnic table in the woods.

  7. I did forget to take any pictures, and felt the same. Like it went by in a blink! For me it was exhausting, but so wonderful at the same time. I love your plates. You can see all the details in the feathers and each little berry and leaf. Even chickens in the background! They are so pretty! I would love to have a setting like that! Yo9u and your guests must have enjoyed them so much!
    Blessings,
    Susie

  11. Last year I gave my Johnson Bros dishes that looked "autumish" and that I used every Thanksgiving, to my brother's wife. I missed them a lot this year! What a busy weekend -- Thanksgiving over and Christmas begun. Rather shocking. Thanks so much for your comment on my "comment less" post. I appreciate it so much.
