The Best $15.00 Ever!

The weekend before I went to New York City to visit Andrea, I was by myself for a whole weekend and was wondering, what is a girl to do? There is no mall, Target, or Home Goods for more than 60 miles, so I hit my favorite consignment stores and resale shops! Sometimes you come up empty and sometimes you hit the jackpot.

 Jackpot!!!

Just take a look at the beautiful rose dishes I got for only $15.00. There were 6 plates, 4 bowls, 5 teacups and saucers, a gravy boat and a covered casserole.

The pattern is Eggshell Nautilus Calarose made in the USA by Homer Laughlin China

The bread and butter plates I already had, they are Meito China, hand painted and made in Japan, unfortunately I do not know the name of the pattern.

The last of the hydrangeas and roses, aren't the colors amazing.

The one of the bowls has a "mistake", it is printed in the opposite direction from the other bowls. I love this, I think it adds to the charm of the dishes.

Company is coming, we are ready for dinner.
