Woodland Flowers

I really can not resist taking pictures of flowers. New in the garden this past week were the bleeding hearts and foam flowers. You will notice a reoccurring theme with my flowers pink, pink and more pink.




I love the pale pink color of these foam flowers.







I can't wait to see what pops up in the garden next week. How about your garden, what is your favorite flower to have arrived so far?

    your heart flowers are splendid...I guess the drift roses in pale salmon are especially pretty right now...the day lilies are profuse too and make me smile...I have probably two thousand flower images on my computer...could start another blog...but won't...hugs,olive

    The early spring flowers are so beautiful. Bleeding Heart has always been a favourite of mine, but I fear that it is too dry here to grow it.

    Beautiful flowers. Exceptional photography, Laura. I know bleeding hearts are a shade plant. Are the foam flowers? Most of my flower beds are in part shade to full shade. i'm always looking for something new to fill in with.

    Oh, I just love bleeding hearts! I planted the lime green variety a couple of years ago. They are a little smaller and bloom earlier, but the lime green really pops in the shade. Pretty photos.

    My mother is from Maine and has always loved the bleeding hearts. I've tried growing them down here (in south TX); but, have had no succeed because it not the right climate for them. Thank you for sharing these pictures because they remind me of my mother. :-)

    Beautiful Laura! Both flowers and photograpy. I have never heard of the Foam flower. It is so pretty. I wonder if it will grow in my zone 5-6. I must research that. I am loving my bleeding heart also. My new dwarf lilacs are about to bloom, can't wait! Thanks for sharing with Share Your Cup!
